What is known about the incidents in Bryansk

Riga Russia’s President Wladimir Putin held a meeting with the National Security Council on Friday. It was previously suspected that the meeting took place against the background of alleged attacks by the Ukrainian side on Russian territory in the past few days. On Thursday, Putin described this as an “act of terrorism”.
At the beginning of the meeting, however, he did not comment on the events, but mentioned the protection of buildings of Russian security organs as a topic. Putin also asked Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev to report. Beyond that, no further details were released from the meeting. However, some observers, such as the economist and Eastern Europe expert Anders Aslund, assume that the events in Bryansk may have been an issue.
