London: Russia has problems with accuracy
British intelligence services report weaknesses in the Russian army’s ability to attack in the war against Ukraine. This was also shown by the attack on Dnipro with its excessive number of victims.
According to British secret services, the Russian army is having difficulties in launching its attacks in the war against the Ukraine to be carried out precisely and consequential damage to be assessed in advance. Examples from the war showed that Russia has weaknesses in its ability to attack with long-range weapons, the British Ministry of Defense said in its daily briefing on Tuesday.
As an example, the British cite the attack on a residential complex in the Ukrainian city Dnipro. The rocket type that hit there a few days ago is notoriously inaccurate when used on targets on the ground and in cities because of the radar system. Similar weapons have also resulted in high casualties on other occasions, such as the attack on a Ukrainian shopping center last June.
The recent attack on Dnipro, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, was the most momentous of several Russian attacks over the past weekend. The Ukrainian authorities reported the deaths of 40 people, including 3 children, by Monday afternoon. Notwithstanding the assurances Moscowallegedly attacking only military targets, Russian shells have repeatedly killed many civilians at once in the aggressive war that has been going on for almost eleven months.
The British Ministry of Defense has published daily information on the course of the war since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, citing intelligence information. In doing so, the British government wants to both counter the Russian portrayal and keep allies in line. Moscow throws London a disinformation campaign.
