According to a US media report, US actor Lance Reddick is dead. He died at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 60. Reddick is best known for his roles in The Wire and the John Wick film series.
US actor Lance Reddick has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles’ Studio City. This is reported by the celebrity magazine “TMZ”. Reddick turned 60. He is best known to audiences for his roles in The Wire and the John Wick film series. “John Wick 4” celebrated its worldwide premiere just a few days ago and will be in cinemas in Germany from March 23.
Apparently no outside influence
How “TMZ” writes, the lifeless Reddick was found at his residence around 9.30 a.m. local time. The cause of death is still unclear, but according to the report there appears to be no evidence of third-party interference. The magazine writes of a “natural” death.
Reddick has also starred in well-known films such as ‘White House Down’ alongside Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx, and the Spike Lee film ‘Oldboy’. He made his breakthrough with his role as John Basil in “Oz – Hell Behind Bars” in the early 2000s.
