Ukraine-News: Deaths after explosion – Poland puts armed forces on increased readiness

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of firing rockets at NATO state Poland, causing a “very serious escalation”. “Today Russian missiles hit Poland, the territory of an allied country. People died. Please accept our condolences,” said Zelenskyy in his evening video address on Tuesday. According to the Ukrainian president, the firing of rockets into NATO territory is “an attack by Russia on collective security”. “This means a very significant escalation. We have to act,” says Zelenskyj. The longer Russia feels unassailable, the greater the threats to anyone within range of Russian missiles. NATO and the US Pentagon reacted much more cautiously and spoke of examining the reports thoroughly.
