The US head of Telekom earns so much more than CEO Höttges

san francisco Mike Sievert is to remain the US subsidiary of the Deutsche Telekom to lead. This emerges from a mandatory notification to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which is available to the Handelsblatt. The new contract runs until April 1, 2028.
The USA are by far the most important national company for the Deutsche Telekom. The US business contributes around two-thirds to group sales. In addition, the growth of the Dax group is mainly driven by the USA.
Mike Sievert was by far the best-paid employee in the Dax group. Now the remuneration of the 53-year-old should continue to rise. According to the stock exchange announcement, if Sievert meets his goals, he will receive annual compensation of well over $20 million, which will also increase over time. In addition, he is to receive one-time stock options worth around ten million dollars at the beginning of April.
