The first division teams TSV Schwabhausen and SV-DJK Kolbermoor welcome the TTC Weinheim, who each recruited one of their players. Kolbermoor has reinforced this with a defender from Sweden.
Linda Bergström was still young when she took on the leading role of Lisa in the film adaptation of "Wir Kinder aus Bullerbü". And of course, although she hasn't worked as an actress for a long time, she didn't retrain to become a table tennis professional - in fact, SV-DJK Kolbermoor signed a Swede with the same name for their first division team in the summer. One that will play at number one in the new season, that scene experts no longer need to be introduced to and that is now enjoying greater popularity than the child star from the book adaptation, and not just in its home country.
Bergström, 27, is number 51 in the world rankings, she was just seen at the European Championships in Munich, and she replaces Yuan Wan in Kolbermoor, who moved to Weinheim. Spectacular matches can be expected from the modern defender, and she could also form an unpleasant double with defensive strategist Svetlana Ganina. Also new to Kolbermoor's squad is Ukrainian champion Solomija Bratejko. The first opponent to come by this Sunday is Yuan Wan's enormously strengthened TTC Weinheim, who the day before - also of all people - already at the TSV Schwabhausen starts. Because his long-time regular player Mateja Jeger has now joined the TTC Weinheim. Otherwise nothing has changed in the TSV squad around Sabine Winter.
