What about equality in Germany? Almost three quarters of women believe that they do not have the same rights as men in society. Men see it differently.
Almost three quarters of Women According to a survey, in Germany there is no equality between women and men. This is the result of a survey published today by the opinion research institute YouGov.
According to this, a total of 62 percent of those surveyed do not believe “that men and women in Germany currently have the same rights and the same status in society and are treated equally in all respects”. Among women, the proportion was 73 percent, while among men it was 48 percent. Today is International Women’s Day.
The respondents perceived particularly large differences at the workplace. Here 61 percent did not see women and girls as equal or not at all equal.
