This is already record-breaking: Tom Hanks could be the big “winner” in the “Razzies” ridiculous prizes.

The Oscar winners tom hanks (66) and Jared Leto (51) could be awarded Hollywood’s mockery awards in March. The awarders of the “Golden Raspberries” or “Razzies” announced the nominations for the awards, which are not to be taken too seriously. Traditionally, the “Razzie” contenders are named the day before the Oscar nominations are announced.

Hanks is nominated in three categories: “Worst Actor” in the role of Geppetto in Disney’s “Pinocchio”, for his supporting role as the music manager tom parker in the biopic “Elvis” and in the category “Worst Screen Couple” – for Hanks along with his latex face mask and his “ridiculous” accent in “Elvis”.

The award for “worst actor” could also go to leto go, for his role as the vampire-like anti-hero “Morbius”. The comic adaptation received a total of five nominations, including in the top category “worst film”. The “Razzie” leader “Blond” is also represented there. The Netflix biopic about Marilyn Monroe has eight “win” chances, including being directed and written by Andrew Dominik. The stoner comedy Good Mourning, which was directed by musicians Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun, received seven nominations. Bryce Dallas Howard (“Jurassic World: A New Age”) and Diane Keaton (“Mack & Rita”) are among the “worst actresses” in the running.

The “Razzies” (short for Raspberry) were created in 1980 by filmmaker John Wilson as a counterpart to the glamorous Oscar-Award launched. According to earlier information from the group, around a thousand members in the United States and other countries are voting. The “winners” are traditionally announced the day before the Oscar gala, which is scheduled to take place on March 12th. This Tuesday (January 24), the Hollywood Film Academy will announce the Oscar nominations.
