Scholz calls for quick charging stations at every gas station

Berlin Even in his time as Federal Minister of Finance was Olaf Scholz (SPD) a friend of the so-called supply requirement. That they found their way into the relevant reports of the National Platform future of mobility (NPM) can also be traced back to today’s chancellor.
Now power scholz pressure on this matter. According to information from the mineral oil industry and from government circles, the Chancellery requires that by the end of 2027 every gas station has at least one fast charging point (Power from 150 kilowatts) is built up.
The government center has commissioned the Ministry of Transport to implement this tightening of the coverage requirement. The house of Volker Wissing (FDP) should approach all stakeholders in the next few weeks to start the consultation process.
