SC Paderborn – Weber new managing director Sport – Sport
Soccer second division SC Paderborn has engaged Benjamin Weber as the new Managing Director Sport. Thomas Tuchel’s former assistant coach will thus succeed Fabian Wohlgemuth, who has moved to VfB Stuttgart. This was announced by the East Westphalian club. “We are very happy that we were able to win Benjamin Weber for SC Paderborn 07. He has all the technical and human requirements to stabilize and further develop our football at a high level,” said President Thomas Sagel. The 39-year-old Weber had accompanied Tuchel as a video analyst and assistant coach at the coaching stations at FSV Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Chelsea.
