Former soccer player and TV star Rúrik Gíslason has identified his next career goal. The “Let’s Dance” winner wants to be an actor.

Former Iceland soccer player Rurik Gislason (34) is now well known to the German television audience. Not only did the stately ex-kicker from the 14th “Let’s Dance” season emerge as the winner, he was also involved in “Beat the Star” and “The Masked Singer”.

Gíslason now revealed in the “Bild” newspaperthat acting is his next career goal. “I have a few offers to do more acting for movies and TV shows,” said the 34-year-old.

“My dream role would be if I had one viking could play, “explains the TV star further, to add: “I already have a bit of acting experience”. In fact, Gíslason can be seen in the fifth “Bibi & Tina” film “Simply Different” from this year, in which he Gíslason also took part in the Icelandic action film parody “Cop Secret”, which was directed by Hannes Þór Halldórsson (38), Iceland’s former national goalkeeper.
