On Saturday evening, the first got the most viewers in front of the screen at prime time with the four-part series “EinStep zum Abgrund”. On average, 4.24 million (16.2 percent market share) tuned in to the thriller drama starring Petra Schmidt-Schaller at 8:15 p.m., which is based on the BBC series “Doctor Foster”.

ZDF reached 3.80 million (14.7 percent) with “The Show of Shows” – a mix of well-known show classics. In the new season of the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer”, “Tatort” star Jan Josef Liefers was revealed as the first participant – 2.14 million (8.8 percent) wanted to see it.
“Germany is looking for the superstar” turned on RTL 2.02 million (8.9 percent). Behind was RTLzwei with “Volcano” – 970,000 (3.7 percent) were interested in the disaster film with Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche in the main roles. Sat.1 lured 890,000 (3.7 percent) in front of the screen with “The Lord of the Rings – The Companions”. 850,000 (3.3 percent) spent the evening with Tom Cruise and the US science fiction film “Oblivion”. Behind it was ZDFneo with “Rendezvous with Joe Black” from 1998 and Brad Pitt in the leading role: 590,000 (2.3 percent) watched.
