Rafal Gikiewicz and Werder Bremen fans: Trouble with the FC Augsburg goalkeeper
NAfter the Augsburg home win over the SV Werder Bremen there was trouble again about Rafal Gikiewicz. The goalkeeper hotspur lay after that 2: 1 of FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga with the guest fans and also individual Bremen pros. The 35-year-old provoked the Werder supporters in the block diagonally behind his goal with gestures. The Pole stuck his index finger behind his ear. He also mocked some Werder players.
“Sometimes it gets on my nerves how they write to me on Twitter or Instagram and insult me and my family,” Gikiewicz explained his behavior on the Sky microphone after the game.
The tension between Bremen and Gikiewicz has existed since the first leg. When Augsburg made it 1-0, the goalkeeper saved a penalty, but before that he unsportsmanlikely footed the penalty spot.
