Queen Elizabeth II: The royal family attends a memorial service together

The royal family still resides at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II died here on Thursday at the age of 96. A service was held in her honor on Saturday at the nearby Crathie Kirk church. The Queen herself was a regular guest there for years when she spent her summers at Balmoral. The family members attended this memorial ceremony together. Three of Queen Elizabeth II’s four children were present: Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Only the eldest son, the new King Charles, had already traveled to London on Friday, where he was officially proclaimed king in the morning. His two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, are already in London.
