Federal Network Agency-President Klaus Müller assumes that gas shortages will recur in the event of a cold winter. "I expect waves: there are gas shortages, they go, they come back, they appear here, sometimes there, possibly throughout Germany," Müller told the Handelsblatt. Müller did not make any predictions about the regions of Germany in which a gas shortage could occur first. "I can't give a serious forecast of where the risk of a shortage is greatest," he said. "If we get a very cold winter, we have a problem," added the head of the agency.
