Crystal Palace – Manchester City 0:1

Difficult but successful: Crystal Palace is in free fall with eight league games in a row without a win – but it still takes up to 78 minutes for Erling Haaland to convert a penalty to Manchester City’s narrow away win. The Skyblues stay close to leaders Arsenal – the Londoners play Fulham on Sunday.

AFC Bournemouth – Liverpool FC 1:0

The 7-0 win over Manchester United was followed by a severe setback for Liverpool. Mohamed Salah shoots a penalty to the left of the goal against Bournemouth. The South Coast team wins with a goal from Philip Billing.

Leicester City 1-3 Chelsea

Spied into the goal: With a long leg, Kai Havertz (No. 29) lobs the ball past Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward into the net to make it 2-1. After a long dry spell, it is Chelsea’s second Premier League win in a row.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Nottingham Forest

Top striker Harry Kane scores once with a header and from the penalty spot against Nottingham Forest (pictured). Thanks to his brace, Tottenham stays on course for the Champions League.

Everton FC 1-0 Brentford FC

Lightning start to victory: Dwight McNeil (No. 7) scores in just 35 seconds and gives his team a three point. Everton leaves the relegation zone at least temporarily with the win.

Leeds United 2-2 Brighton and Hove Albion

Leeds striker Jack Harrison gave the visitors from Brighton the lead with an own goal. With a hit on what he thinks is the right side, he secures at least one point for his team in the relegation battle.
