Taylor Swift prices are likely to be piling up by now. Now another award has been added, which has a special meaning for the singer.

singer and songwriter Taylor Swift (33) was awarded the Innovation Prize at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and in her speech encouraged people to try and fail. The award would make all those decisions that worked well shine, but above all she wanted to emphasize the “hundreds or thousands of stupid ideas that led me to the good ones”.

“You have to give yourself permission not to succeed,” she continued. “I try as best I can not to fail because it’s embarrassing, but I give myself permission and you should too.” In her own words, the American was able to try herself in the past mainly because of her fans: “I’m very privileged because my fans stood behind me when I switched between genres or old ones Music re-recorded.”

The pop singer started her career with country music, but in between she also released albums that fell more into the electro-pop or folk genre. Between 2006 and 2017 she released her first six studio albums. Due to a dispute with her former label, Swift re-recorded her old albums so that she can freely dispose of the rights again.

Last year she released her tenth album entitled “Midnights”. As the first artist ever, she occupied the first ten places on the Billboard charts with songs from the record and was able to celebrate numerous other successes and win awards.
