Poland will demand reparations from Germany

Warsaw Poland According to the chairman of the national-conservative governing party PiS, Jaroslav Kaczynskifrom Germany reparations for the im second World War claim damages suffered. “Today in Warsaw’s Royal Castle the decision will be made and the final announcement will be made that Poland will seek war reparations for everything that the Germans did in Poland in 1939-1945,” Kaczynski said.

This Thursday – exactly 83 years after the start of the Second World War on September 1, 1939 – the amount of war damage is to be quantified in a report. The expert opinion of a parliamentary commission convened in 2017, which had been kept secret for a long time, is presented in the royal palace.

The federal government rejects all demands for reparations. For them, the question is closed with the 2+4 treaty on the foreign policy aspects of German unity.
