Kraftklub stronger than Alphaville in the ranking

Young German rock in front of pop heroes of the 80s: For the fourth time, Kraftklub have topped the charts with a new album and this time clearly left Alphaville behind. As GfK Entertainment announced on Friday, “Kargo” by the Chemnitz rock quintet ended up ahead of “Eternally Yours”, which Alphaville singer Marian Gold had recorded with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, and ahead of hip-hop artists Genetikk (third place for ” OUTTATHISWORLD – Radio Show Vol. 2″).

A trio made up of the German rapper Luciano, the British Aitch and the American BIA is clearly ahead in the singles charts. With their collaboration “Bamba” they replaced Nina Chuba (“Wildberry Lillet”, two). Oscar winner Sam Smith and German-born Kim Petras (“Unholy”) took fourth place as the second highest-grossing newcomers. “Nachts awake” by Miksu, Macloud & makko (three) and “I’m Good (Blue)” by David Guetta & Bebe Rexha (five) complete the top ranks.
