The Cologne band AnnenMayKantereit celebrates the restart after the pandemic on their new album. And ended up at the top of the album charts.
The German pop trio AnnenMayKantereit has directly secured number one in the German album charts with his new work “It’s evening and we’re sitting with me”. It is Cologne’s second top ranking after “Alles nix Konkretes” from 2016, as GfK Entertainment announced on Friday.
Other newcomers follow in the next places: The Berlin rapper Ufo361 is second with “Love My Life” ahead of the British band Genesis (“BBC Broadcasts”, three) and singer Wolfgang Petry (“Stark wie wir”, four). Rapper Alligatoh manages to return with “Rotz & Wasser”.
In the single charts, Udo Lindenberg & Apache 207 celebrate their sixth number one week in a row. “Comet” is loud with it fiberglass Entertainment’s longest-charting song since last year’s summer hit “Layla” (DJ Robin & Schürze), which topped the top 100 a total of nine times. The next places go unchanged to Miley Cyrus (“Flowers”, two) and Ayliva feat. Mero (“She knows”, three).
