Mix agrees ahead of Champions League in Lisbon

If there is anything to criticize about the current condition of Frankfurt’s football professionals, then it’s the poor exploitation of chances. There were plenty of best opportunities against BVB. But apart from Daichi Kamada nobody was able to overcome the famous Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel.

It’s no big deal that Eintracht missed out on climbing up the table with a possible and ultimately deserved win in their core business, the Bundesliga. Trainer Oliver Glasner continues to have a team that is in good shape and that, despite the supposed setback against Dortmund, who are happier in terms of the referees, can still do a lot.

A man with potential

The mix between the different parts of the team has been right for a few weeks now. Glasner and his helpers balanced the team well and found suitable solutions even in times of staff shortages. Hardly anyone would have seriously expected at the beginning of the season that Kristian Jakic plays a solid role as head of the three-man defense chain. The Croatian does it – and you can also rely on other players. Hvroje Smolcic, for example, who stayed on the bench against BVB, has previously shown that he can be relied on when the need arises.
