Eight months ago Manuel Flickinger was in the South African jungle for RTL. Now the mail came with his forgotten fan.

Post for Manuel Flickinger (34) from South Africa! This year’s participant in the RTL show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” had left his red and gold fan behind more than eight months ago. It was delivered to him after a considerable delay, as he announced in several Instagram stories. The former “Prince Charming” candidate originally took the fan to the jungle camp as a luxury item.

“I can’t believe it’s here now,” he says Flickinger about the arrival of the package. He is glad that he can now hold the fan in his hands again. Why is this item so important to Flickinger? “He is many years old and was one of the first of Lafayette Diamond,” he continues. Lafayette is the fictional character of the 34-year-old, who sees himself not as a classic drag queen but as a so-called crossdresser.

His fan even smells like the jungle camp

The package with the has a special memory subjects for Flickinger also delivered free of charge: the usual scent of the RTL show. “He actually still smells like a campfire from the jungle camp,” said the finalist.
