Julian Lennon meets Paul McCartney at the airport

LEnnon meets McCartney. What sounds like 1957 can still happen in 2022, as Julian Lennon’s Instagram post proves: “It’s great who you can meet like that in an airport lounge. It’s none other than Uncle Paul,” wrote Julian Lennon, the son John Lennon’s from his first marriage to Cynthia Powell.

Lennon also posted a photo of himself with Sir Paul McCartney at Heathrow Airport and a picture of McCartney pointing to Lennon’s latest album Jude.

Paul McCartney once wrote his world hit “Hey Jude” for Julian to cheer him up after his parents separated. McCartney originally sang “Hey Jules” but changed the name prior to release. He was “grateful,” Lennon wrote on Instagram about the latest pictures.

The picture was commented on by Sean Ono Lennon, Julian Lennon’s half-brother and son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who left three heart emojis under the post. Mary McCartney, daughter of Paul McCartney, also commented on the picture. “This makes me happy,” she wrote.
