Is the repentance process beginning in the UK now?

The British Prime Minister and the head of the EU Commission settled the dispute over the customs border in Northern Ireland this week.

London Ditchley Park is one of those mysterious places in Great Britain, whose names hide more than they reveal. In the middle of a 120-hectare parkland stands an English mansion whose history stretches back more than 400 years to Queen Elizabeth I. The historic property, about a two-hour drive northwest of London, was used by Winston Churchill as a secret shelter from German bombers during World War II.

No wonder, then, that a meeting of opponents and supporters of Brexit in Ditchley Park in early February caused distrust, even panic, especially among the hard-line supporters of Great Britain’s exit from the EU. Especially since Michael Gove, an acting minister from the cabinet of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, also took part.

What the hell, Brexiters asked themselves afterwards, has Brexit hardliner Gove to discuss with a Europhile Labor politician and former EU commissioner like Peter Mandelson?
