When the Queen's body reaches its final resting place, Andrew Parker will be by its side. He holds the post of Lord Chamberlain in the Royal Household and as such watches over the famous white staff which is symbolically broken over the monarch's grave. This ceremonial act was last held in 1952, following the death of King George VI, the late Queen's father.
