Helene Fischer postpones the start of the tour in Bremen
WDue to an injury, singer Helene Fischer is postponing the start of the tour originally planned for this Tuesday in Bremen. She suffered a rib fracture during rehearsals, which is why the shows in Bremen and Cologne had to be postponed, said Fischer himself and the tour organizer Live Nation on Monday evening. The “image” also reported.
Sometimes “higher powers are at work,” wrote Fischer (38, “Breathless”) on Instagram. “We therefore have to postpone the premiere with a heavy heart (…).” Fischer continues: “I hope you know how sorry I am, because I know how happy it is that it’s finally starting and how many inconvenience a transfer brings with it for you. Believe me, I would have wished otherwise, but I have to follow urgent medical advice.”
According to Live Nation, the artist suffered a rib fracture during the acrobatic rehearsals, which made it necessary to relocate the planned shows in Bremen and also in Cologne. Catch-up dates in Bremen are now from May 10th to 12th, in Cologne from August 25th to September 2nd. “All tickets for the concerts remain valid,” it said.
The premiere of the tour with 71 concerts and around 700,000 fans is scheduled to take place in Hamburg on April 11th.
Fischer developed the “Intoxication” tour with the Cirque du Soleil acrobatic troupe. Fischer was last on tour in 2018. After a baby break, she returned to the stage in 2022 and gave her biggest concert to date in Munich in front of around 130,000 fans.
