Norbert Rollinger has little time. He has one hour for the interview, then he has to travel from Wiesbaden to Frankfurt Airport – appointments in Berlin. The conversation continues in the car. The head of the insurer R+V, which belongs to the cooperative financial group, has been at the head of the General Association of the German Insurance Industry (GDV) since September. Rollinger, 58, from Luxembourg, studied law and business administration in Munich. After completing his doctorate, he worked as a management consultant and went to the insurer DBV-Winterthur in 1998.
