FC Augsburg – cruciate ligament rupture at Bazee – Sport

Bundesliga soccer club FC Augsburg will have to do without offensive player Noah Sarenren Bazee for several months. The 25-year-old suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in his right knee, as the club announced. Accordingly, Sarenren Bazee suffered the injury in training on Monday. “Noah had put himself in a very good physical condition through good and diligent training work over the past few months. With his goal against Dortmund and the starting XI in Bielefeld, he rewarded himself for his efforts and was on a really good path. It’s all the more bitter for him and for us that he now has to accept such a serious injury,” said FCA coach Markus Weinzierl. The winger has had to cope with injuries time and time again in the past. “Of course I’m very frustrated at the moment, but I’m just as confident that I’ll get through this phase and come back strong as soon as possible,” he said.
