Former Munich player Dante regularly defends in France against the storm in Paris. He explains why the second leg will be much tougher defensively for Bayern despite Neymar’s injury.

Dante Bonfim Costa Santos, 39, played in the Bundesliga from 2008 to 2016. Nowhere was he as successful as at FC Bayern, whose jersey he wore from 2012 to 2015 (after three seasons at Borussia Mönchengladbach). During this time he not only won the almost inevitable Bundesliga titles – but also those Champions League, which is at stake for FC Bayern on Wednesday. The Munich meet Paris Saint-Germain. Dante knows PSG firsthand. Because after a year at VfL Wolfsburg, the Brazilian moved to the French Ligue 1 to Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice in 2016, where he played all but one game this season.
