US star Christina Ricci reported on a talk show that she had received a lawsuit threat because she refused to film a sex scene.
US actress Christina Ricci (43) revealed on a talk show what brutal methods she experienced at the beginning of her career: A production company threatened to sue her when she refused to shoot a certain sex scene.
“I will not show myself naked”
The younger generation of actors so Ricci in “The View”is much more confident than she was then: “It’s great to see that nowadays you don’t have to go through what I went through. You can say no, you can say I’m not going to do this sex scene, I’m not going to show naked.”
The younger actresses, Ricci continues, are able to set boundaries that she never would have been able to set before: “Someone once threatened to sue me because I didn’t want to shoot a certain sex scene. That has really changed.”
Ricci, who became a star as a child through films such as “Mermaids Kiss Better” and “Addams Family”, can currently be seen in the US series “Yellowjackets”.
