With two photos and loving lines, King Charles III. and King Consort Camilla send Mother’s Day greetings to their late mothers.

On the royal family’s Instagram account two very different photos were published. One shows the former Prince Charles, around the age of one and a half, standing on the lap of his mother, who later became Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). Both beam at the camera.
The second photo shows in the foreground a smiling Rosalind Maud Cubitt (1921-1994) of rather advanced age, her daughter Camilla stands behind her beaming and with folded arms.
In the comment, the two British royals not only greet their deceased mothers. “To all the mothers around the world and to everyone who is missing their mothers today, we are thinking and wishing you a special one Mother’s Day“, can be read there.
