Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has to do without Konrad Laimer for weeks.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has to be open for weeks Konrad Laimer waive.

The 25-year-old midfielder twisted his ankle in the 3-0 home win over Borussia Dortmund and injured his left syndesmosis ligament ankle drawn, which will result in a week-long break, as the club announced. Laimer was injured in a duel with Dortmund's Jude Bellingham, but was able to play through until just before the end.

The Austrian international will now play in the Champions League on Wednesday at Real Madrid (9 p.m. / DAZN) as well as the Bundesliga game against Borussia Mönchengladbach next Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky) and the following international matches with Austria.
