World Champion Denise Herrmann-Wick secured the small crystal globe in the Sprint World Cup with a victory in the penultimate race of her biathlon career. The 34-year-old sprinted to the eleventh World Cup success of her career on Saturday without shooting errors at the Holmenkollen in Oslo. Behind the Saxon, Sweden’s Hanna Öberg (0 penalties) finished in second place, 3.5 seconds behind, third was Anna Magnusson from Sweden (0). Herrmann-Wick triumphed for the second time after 2019/2020 in the discipline ranking in the sprint.
