pastures Despite the federal government's tight financial situation Federal Family Minister Lisa Paus (Greens) is sticking to her timetable for the introduction of basic child security.

She is certain that she will present the corresponding law as planned in the fourth quarter of 2023, "We will pay out the first money in 2025' said Paus on Friday at the conclusion of the Green Party's autumn retreat in the Bavarian state parliament in Weiden in der Oberpfalz.

It is important that families with low incomes in particular are relieved. Paus did not want to say anything about the amount of the basic security.

Various family benefits such as child benefit are to be bundled into basic child security. As a result, there should then be an income-independent guaranteed amount for all children and young people, families with one low income should receive an additional amount.
