Basic child security: Greens criticize Finance Minister Lindner – politics

Only a few days after the agreement on transport and climate policy, the traffic light coalition is threatened with a new violent dispute over an important social reform. The rejection of the basic child security by Finance Minister and FDP boss Christian Lindner met with fierce criticism from the coalition partner. “Anyone who wants a good future for Germany shouldn’t save on our children now,” says the deputy leader of the Greens parliamentary group, Andreas Audretsch Süddeutsche Zeitung. “You can’t complain about a shortage of skilled workers and at the same time ignore child poverty.”
