With the forthcoming fourth season, the title character “Barry” has been exhausted – the series with Bill Hader will not be renewed.
Some of the actors had already indicated it, now it has also been officially confirmed by HBO: The series “Barry” by and starring comedian Bill Hader (44) ends after the fourth season, which will premiere in the US in April . This is reported by the US industry website “The Hollywood Reporter”..
The site quotes series creator Hader as saying, “It’s been an incredible journey making this series and it’s bittersweet that the story is now coming to its natural end.” The final season will consist of eight episodes.
“Barry” is about the ex-soldier Barry Berkman (Hader), who now earns his living as a hitman. The black humor series was able to win various awards, including several Emmys.
