"Babylon" is set in the 1920s in Hollywood, the decade in which the Los Angeles area becomes a dream factory. Margot Robbie (32) embodies a young would-be starlet. While sharing coke with her lover, she dreams in the trailer of a "life , which is like a party" - and apparently of a great film career.
Brad Pitt as an aging movie star
Brad Pitt (58) plays an established Hollywood star who looks back for the first time in his career - and thinks about the future. According to director Chazelle, Pitt's character is inspired by early movie stars like Douglas Fairbanks. Tobey Maguire (47) can also be seen briefly, in his first film appearance after a seven-year break.
Stylistically, he remembers Trailers of Baz Lurmann's "The Great Gatsby" - just not quite as spectacular and stylized. But there are surprisingly revealing pictures of naked breasts to see. Babylon is slated to hit theaters worldwide in January 2023.
