Apple reportedly produces fewer iPhones 14 than planned

Cupertino Apple has, according to an agency report, canceled its plans to increase production of its new iPhone 14 smartphone by up to six million units in the second half of the year. The expected surge in demand failed to materialize, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing insiders.

The suppliers have been informed that it is not necessary to prepare for production increases. Instead will Apple as in the previous year, 90 million mobile phones will be manufactured in the second half of the year, the agency further reported.
