Melanie Müller has commented on recordings that raise the question. On Instagram, she distances herself from radical right-wing ideas.

New recordings that were made during a concert by Ballermann singer Melanie Müller (34) and the “Picture”-Newspaper leaked raise questions. The hand movements of the singer that can be seen on it are similar to the forbidden “German greeting”, also known as the “Hitler salute”. Müller asserted to “Bild” that it would be “Zicke zacke zicke zacke” gestures that she had been doing on stage for eleven years.

Meanwhile, Müller has also reported via Instagram and is not aware of any guilt. Instead, she sees herself as the victim of a smear campaign: “The media fire, the unjustified allegations against me, the claim that I’m working together with right-wing extremists and move in right-wing extremist surroundings have hit me hard physically and mentally,” she writes.

announced time off

For the time being, she wants to “retire a little, relax and try to process the whole thing”. However, she wanted to make it clear once again that she had “nothing to do with right-wing extremists or nationalist ideas. I condemn that in the strongest possible terms.”
