Heung-min Son will go to the World Cup with South Korea after all. The Tottenham player has given the all-clear after his facial surgery.

A fracture in the face forces Heung Min Son to an operation. The initial expectation was that this would result in the end of the World Cup. Now the offensive player reported: He will go to Qatar after all.

Soccer South Korea can breathe easy: One of the most important players of the national team is now going to the World Championship drive.

Heung-Min Son gave the all-clear on Wednesday. Was it initially assumed that he had to have an operation on his face after a partialfracture would miss the World Cup, there is now the enjoyable roll backwards – and that from him personally.

In an Instagram post he reported Tottenham-Star’s word. “First of all, I want to thank you all for the messages of support that have reached me,” he opened. He then explained: “Playing for your country at a World Cup is the dream of as many kids as it was mine. I won’t miss this World Cup.”

He is already looking forward to representing “our beautiful country”, he concluded. This makes it clear: the 30-year-old will follow with the South Korean national team Qatar to travel.

Whether he can be used directly in the first game is still unclear. But he won’t let the theoretical chance be taken away. Especially since there is another week between the first and the last group game of the team.
